Ray Lee is a british artist, performer, compositor and teacher that has had, for the last 20 years, a very active role in the field of performance, artistic installations, photography and musical composition. His works are a sample of his fascination by the hidden world of electromagnetic radiation, in particular of how sound can be used as an evidence of invisible phenomenon.
World Theremin Quartet is a very special live in which Ray Lee will offer a masterly class of sound through a theremin. Without a doubt, the best tribute that we can, from the Laboratorio de Electrónica Visual, give to Lev Thermen, the Russian scientific that in the 20’s created the instrument that would be the direct predecessor of the modern sintetizers.
