Rajko Müller, who was born in Frankfurt/Main, lived with his family in Argelia as a child. Then he moved to Frankfurt with his family and began to get in touch with synthesizers walking his first steps in a synth-pop project together with a friend from school. Disillusioned and bored with the synth-pop and EBM scene at the end of the 80s, he decided to put electronica aside until a few years later, when he started to listen to hip-hop, house and techno, trying to emulate those sounds with his old synthesizer.
Years later a new label would see the light – Playhouse; and a first record - “Rest” would be released from Frankfurt with the will to become a classic. With that work, Isolée managed to be in the crosshairs of the electronica scene worldwide: the “Beau mot plage” hit (published on tens of compilations and of which over 30 remixes exist) has become an enormous hymn and the rest of the album meant in 2000 the redefinition of the classic concepts of House; his personal style came across as a fussion with an eminently House touch with labels and styles as different as ambient, down-tempo or house itself. A label was born, which would lead the way to numerous productions which would be released from then onwards up to the present and in which many artists such as Ricardo Villalobos, Luciano or Herbert among many others would go deeply into. Microhouse was born.
Rajko would move to Hamburg later on and in 2005 he would amaze everyone once more with “We are monster”, a microhouse bible which received endless overwhelming reviews from all specialized media and being highlighted as a classic by the New York Times.
Since then he has published exquisite 12”s and displaying his live performances every year in a handful of select events. His performances are considered a guarantee of strong and pure emotions.
