Workshop Red Bull Music Academy: Mark Pritchard
The Visual Electronic Laboratory works since its second edition together with the Red Bull Music Academy to provide public workshops that bring about an approachment between audience and artist, allowing the creators to share with the public their motivations and feelings, tools and working methods and encouraging in a relaxed environment a fluid dialogue between audience and artist, enabling a better understanding by the public of the various generative processes surrounding audiovisual creation. After hosting the Monolake & Deadbeat workshop in 2008, Daedelus and the creators of Resolume software workshops in 2009, and the founders of the Raster Noton label-platform: Carsten Nicolai, Olaf Bender and Frank Bretschneider in 2010; the Visual Electronic Laboratoy will host in its fifth edition another exclusive workshop that will be announced soon.
Mark Pritchard, the man behind projects such as Harmonic 313, Hi-Tech Africa, Global Communication, Jedi Knights … will be responsible for providing an essential workshop which will review the background accumulated during his 15 year career on the stage as well as electronic production techniques and tools. Mark Pritchard is also one of the regular teachers of the Red Bull Music Academy, which this year will be held in Madrid between October 23 and November 4.
