Workshop
“Performing live with computers: A collection of very personal ideas about performing live” is the title of the workshop inside of the Red Bull Music Academy activities, that Robert Henke and Scott Monteith, better known as Monolake and Deadbeat, will give out during the Saturday 3 rd of May afternoon, from 6 o´clock.Improvisation, structures, control, organization, Ableton Live, Max/Msp, Monodeck II, hardware controllers and interaction are some of the fields where these two fanatics of the investigation and the development of new tools for musical production will give us their personal point of view.Robert Henke is the mind hidden behind the development of Ableton Live, one of the most perfect sofwares ever created for the development of live music. Scott Monteith was worker of Applied Acoustics Systems for years, one of the most important companies of synthesizer production in the world. In LEV, and thanks to the Red Bull Music Academy, they will show us their knowledge and personal points of view. All those who are willing to access the workshop must previously sing up by sending a mail to contact@levfestival.com specifying name and surnames.The tickets are already available in the different officials marketing venues, also from Tick Tack Ticket net. To access the Gisèle Vienne, Dennis Cooper & KTL “KINDERTOTENLIEDER” ´s performance you must previously reserve the ticket by phoning to 616526833 (from 21 st to 30 th of April, from 12.oo to 14.00) or by sending a mail to datatron@levfestival.com before the 30 th of April. The ticket will be collected in the ticket office situated in the hall of the Laboral the 2 nd of May or in the ticket office of the Laboral´s Theatre the 3 rd of May until 20.30. The tickets not collected then, will be on sale. For buy them, you must present the ticket of the Lev Festival (for one or for the two days) and the name with which you have made the reserve. SIREN of Ray Lee in the Church, the Friday 2 nd and the Saturday 3 rd , has limited seating. People will enter according to the order of arrivals. Lev Festival is a production formed by Laboral Art Centre and Industrial Creation, Laboral Scene and the association Datatrón 0×3F.
