Galaxxxy Sandwich. SP
At the showcase that will take place on Saturday, May 4, AWWZ will introduce us to her very personal musical universe, influenced by Future Beats, Pop and contemporary R&B. Meandering rhythms, silky vocals and ethereal textures.
All this is shown in her works in labels such as Galaxxxy Sandwich (with her acclaimed ‘Glid’ EP), Finesse Records, or Nacional Records; plus collaborations with Demmy Sober, Lost Twin, BSN Posse, Bearoid, Teen Flirt and Adrian Be. A portfolio expanded with ‘VISA’, with Yaw Mini and F. Dowell, a track that was included in Spotify’s New Music list in the U.S.
These are very important events, but we must add that Awwz’s versatility allows her to make everybody dance in other contexts, like museums such as Somerset House, MATE and Arts Santa Mónica.
Besides, AWWZ has started the BEATSxUS project to help girls and n/b get into the world of production and Djing, organizing free workshops and studio sessions in Spain.
