Experimental artist and producer from Taipei Meuko! Meuko! and Taiwanese new media art collective NONEYE, co-founded by the director of NAXS Corp, will perform Invisible General at Nave 16, a new audiovisual show based on their usual futuristic game spaces that immerse the audience into Taiwan’s spiritual landscapes and cityscapes, in a display of urban decay enveloped by flourishing greenery and the contrast of tradition and modern technology.
Invisible General is the second chapter of the Ghost Island trilogy. A multi discipline production that aims to create an alternative narrative facing the post-pandemic, alienated world.
With Meuko’s sound as its core, the project investigates mythology, tech-animalism and gaming culture by utilizing tech embodied expression such as motion-capture, face-capture and real-time 3D engines.
