KELLY MORAN

Kelly Moran is a pianist and producer from New York who has spent her career excavating the sonic possibilities of the piano through extended techniques, prepared piano, and electronic experimentation. Throughout her career, she has collaborated with an array of visionary contemporaries including FKA twigs, Yves Tumor, Kelsey Lu, Oneohtrix Point Never, and the Avalanches. 

Her acclaimed solo work explores the intersection of acoustic performance and technology, particularly through the Yamaha Disklavier player piano, of which she has been an official Yamaha Artist since 2018. Following the critically praised Bloodroot, Ultraviolet, Vesela, and Moves in the Field, Moran returns with Don’t Trust Mirrors, an album that blends synthesizers and prepared piano to reflect on perception, transformation, and the search for self. An immersive journey towards self-reconnection and coming back into focus.
