New names for the 11th edition of Laboratorio de Electrónica Visual

In addition to previous confirmations such as Factory Floor, playing their new work 25 25 in a live A/V show with visual artist Dan Tombs, John Beltran playing live for the first time his new release Everything at once with visual artist Oscar Sol, Samuel Kerridge with his stunning show Fatal Light Attraction Live A/V or experimental performance Lexachast by Amnesia Scanner & Bill Kouligas, among others, L.E.V. announces new names of this edition’s lineup.

Thanks to Red Bull Music Academy, we will be able to enjoy the presence of Hauschka, whose collaboration with Dustin O’Halloran in the film Lion has been nominated for an Oscar for the best soundtrack award.

What if is the new work by Hauschka, to be released next March. He will perform it at L.E.V. in a Live A/V show with the help of visual artist Florence To, and adding two Yamaha Disklavier pianos to his sonic arsenal to embark on a certainly fascinating journey around his most outstanding album so far.

Another new and exciting addition to our lineup is an A/V live show specially designed by Byetone and Markus Heckmann for its premiere at L.E.V. 2017. The leader of raster noton will play live Universal Music, his new album to be released on late 2017, accompanied by one of the most singular visual creators of today, the founding member of Canadian platform Derivative/TouchDesigner.

Visionary Logos, one of the most fascinating creators of the new British scene, also joins the lineup to reveal new unreleased material in live format for the very first time; rave voyeur Lorenzo Senni will bring us Persona, his acclaimed new work for Warp; we will also discover the solo project of true space cadet Kiki Hitomi, the very personal vocalist of King Midas Sound; and the delicate and fascinating sound layers of Canadian Julia Kent.

Keep tuned for the new additions that will be announced in the following weeks!

From April 27 to April 30, L.E.V., an initiative coproduced by the Government of the Principality of Asturias, the Town Council of Gijón, LABoral Centro de Arte y Creación Industrial and Datatrón Collective, will once more present some of the most interesting and risky sonic and visual creations from all over the world.

Remember that Pass tickets for all L.E.V. day and night activities on the days April 28 and 29 are now available for €50.
