Planet LEV is a newly created artistic experience, available both in virtual reality and for web browsers. A dreamlike universe that hosts animated sculptures, sound installations, concerts and audiovisual live shows by artists from all over the world. Created by\u00a0Children of Cyberspace<\/strong>, curated by\u00a0L.E.V.<\/strong>\u00a0and produced by\u00a0Matadero Madrid<\/strong>\u00a0and L.E.V, the project Planet LEV was born during lockdown in order to turn these challenging times for culture into a chance to experiment with new formats.<\/p>\n

Now,\u00a0on the occasion of Madrid Design Festival, Matadero Madrid and DiMAD organize the activity \u201cThere\u2019s life in other (virtual) worlds\u201d<\/strong>, including public online conferences, two intensive workshops to create virtual environments, intended for students of design, architecture and fashion, and a streaming presentation of results.<\/p>\n

The project will have a public online opening formed by two conferences, at\u00a0mataderomadrid.org<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0LEV<\/a><\/strong>[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”20px”][vc_single_image image=”36141″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][vc_empty_space height=”40px”][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][edgtf_section_title position=”left” disable_separator=”no” title_tag=”h4″ disable_title_break_words=”no” title=”Tuesday 16.02.2021 \/ 17:00h”][vc_empty_space height=”20px”][vc_column_text]One of them will be\u00a0\u2018Planet LEV. Making of\u2019<\/strong>, where\u00a0Children of Cyberspace<\/strong>\u00a0will talk about the otherworldly experience Planet LEV.\u00a0Revealing the process and methodology behind the design of the environment and its inhabitants, they will present how this Planet and its ecosystem came about and the series of creatures alive on the planet, unraveling the reasoning behind their anatomy as well as their inspirations.<\/p>\n

Children of Cyberspace (CC) is a techno-utopian universe composed of architects, programmers, graphic designers and game developers strive to create creative realms for artists to express themselves freely.<\/p>\n

Claudia Rafael is a Digital Artist and Art Director. Her work focuses on issues of technology, extended and mixed realities. Rafael is interested in investigating how, \u201cdigitalism forms new aesthetics\u201d related to nature, art and popular culture.<\/p>\n
