From\u00a0April 27 to 30,<\/strong>\u00a0the Festival will feature a lineup full of daring and innovative international acts that aim to go beyond classic formats within the fields of sound and vision creations.<\/p>\n

After announcing its activity lineup,\u00a0L.E.V.<\/strong>\u00a0Festival<\/strong>\u00a0adds some last events:\u00a0Geometr\u00eda del Esplendor<\/em><\/strong>: a documentary film about industrial music legends\u00a0Esplendor Geom\u00e9trico<\/strong>, a\u00a0J\u00e4germusic\u00a0<\/strong>showcase dedicated to support new Spanish musical talents, a live presentation by\u00a0Octuvre<\/strong>, the new solo project by Juan Casamayor (Suit Tiger), a collaboration between visual artist\u00a0Oscar Sol<\/strong>\u00a0with\u00a0Logos and John Beltran<\/strong>, and the\u00a0Closing Party\u00a0<\/strong>at Gij\u00f3n\u2019s\u00a0Club Lanna<\/strong>\u00a0with\u00a0Rob Hall and Komatssu.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This film captures more than thirty years of music, creativity and independence during the revolution of techno music. It takes you back to the times and to the foundation of the art that still lives on today throughout Spain and Europe. The style is described in a metromatic decalogue or key combination, among other things, are laid out using structures of guidance, like a symphony, different assembly order and set combinations of random appearances, like music models and interviews, but are well put together.<\/p>\n

Festival<\/strong>\u00a0brings us a\u00a0J\u00e4germusic showcase<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0dedicated to support new Spanish musical talents. This year\u2019s lineup is formed by\u00a0RRUCCULLA\u00a0<\/strong><\/a>and\u00a0Huias<\/a>,\u00a0<\/strong>representing J\u00e4germeister\u2019s musical programme, and\u00a0ARK9<\/strong><\/a>, chosen by the Festival.<\/p>\n

On the showcase that will take place next\u00a0Saturday April 29,<\/strong>\u00a0young Bilbao artist RRUCCULLA will delight us with her combination of future jazz and electronica; HUIAS, with headquarters in Gij\u00f3n and old friends of the Festival, will go on exploring the connection between the pop universe and avant-garde electronics; finally, ARK9 will provide their unique noisy synth-pop vision.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”40px”][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][edgtf_section_title position=”left” disable_separator=”no” title_tag=”h4″ disable_title_break_words=”no” title=”OCTUVRE”][vc_empty_space height=”20px”][vc_single_image image=”33007″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][vc_empty_space height=”20px”][vc_column_text]Octuvre<\/strong>\u00a0<\/a>is the solo project by Juan Casamayor (Suit Tiger), who has recently released his first solo album\u00a0Distancias<\/em><\/strong>, combining analogue synth electronica, rhythm sequencers, dark melodies and love and fatalism as central themes. His music evokes the industrial environment where\u00a0Octuvre<\/strong>\u00a0was born, among centennial mines and factories still in use.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”40px”][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][edgtf_section_title position=”left” disable_separator=”no” title_tag=”h4″ disable_title_break_words=”no” title=”OSCAR SOL”][vc_empty_space height=”20px”][vc_single_image image=”33011″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][vc_empty_space height=”20px”][vc_column_text]Oscar Sol<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0is an artist specialized in\u00a0generative visuals in real time and the interaction technologies applied to scenic arts.<\/strong>\u00a0His visual sessions, which boast a distinct digital aesthetic and an elaborated synchrony with sound, are based in geometrical abstractions and the use of more figurative three-dimensional models, which he combines in evocative, futuristicl andscapes that get him closer to live cinema.<\/p>\n

A very important part of his process and creative discourse is to represent visually the qualities of sound, and integrating them as an invigorating element of his work.<\/p>\n

This time, sound creations by\u00a0Logos\u00a0<\/strong><\/a>and\u00a0John Beltran<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0will be used as the basis for Sol\u2019s visual representations, a collaboration curated by the Festival especially for this event.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”40px”][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][edgtf_section_title position=”left” disable_separator=”no” title_tag=”h4″ disable_title_break_words=”no” title=”CLOSING PARTY \/ CLUB LANNA \/ ROB HALL AND KOMATSSU”][vc_empty_space height=”20px”][vc_single_image image=”33013″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][vc_empty_space height=”20px”][vc_column_text]On Sunday April 30,\u00a0L.E.V.<\/strong>\u00a0will celebrate its Closing Party with the collaboration of\u00a0Club Lanna<\/a>,<\/strong>\u00a0to finish this new edition of the Festival. The party will feature legendary\u00a0Dj\u00a0Rob Hall<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0and the indefatigable\u00a0Komatssu<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Rob Hall<\/strong>\u00a0belongs to\u00a0Gescom<\/strong>\u00a0platform, a very influential collective also integrated by,\u00a0Autechre<\/strong>\u00a0(Rob Hall<\/strong>\u00a0is their official tour DJ), among others. Hall has also worked with the prestigious\u00a0Skam<\/strong>\u00a0label, with a roster that includes such renowned artists as\u00a0Bola<\/strong>\u00a0or\u00a0Boards of Canada.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Active since 2007,\u00a0Komatssu<\/strong>\u00a0is the most personal project by\u00a0Hector Sandoval<\/strong>\u00a0(Tensal<\/strong>\u00a0and 50% of renowned techno project\u00a0Exium<\/strong>). A project based on the natural fusion of the most melodic IDM and ghostly avant-techno, conceiving sound as a catalyst of emotions in order to create a truly personal landscape.<\/p>\n

Both in his live shows and Dj sessions, Sandoval explores the different structures and sound intensities that exist around IDM, electro and avant-techno, also leaving space for more ambient moments.<\/p>\n

After his last releases on\u00a0Editions Mego<\/strong>\u00a0and Barcelonian label\u00a0Sin Hilo<\/strong>,\u00a0<\/strong>Sandoval is working on a new album where he will explore the limits of his hard drive, referencing his works during the last ten years. A journey through the limits of time, the new technological breakthroughs and the different textures that can be used to dress up emotions.<\/p>\n
