FUTURES<\/b> is a Creative Europe-supported collaboration bringing together four leading cultural organizations working at the intersection of art, science, and technology: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ohme.be\/\">OHME<\/a> (Belgium) together with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.electroni-k.org\/\">Electroni[k]<\/a> (France), <a href=\"https:\/\/instrumentinventors.org\/\">iii<\/a> (The Netherlands), and <a href=\"https:\/\/levfestival.com\/en\/\">LEV Festival<\/a> (Spain), in partnership with two associated universities, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ulb.be\/en\">Universit\u00e9 Libre de Bruxelles<\/a> (ULB) and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vub.be\/en\">Vrije Universiteit Brussel<\/a> (VUB), to support transdisciplinary artistic practices that imagine alternative, desirable futures.<\/p>\n<p><b>SOLAR FUTURES<\/b> invites three individual artists to create new works exploring <b>Solarpunk<\/b>, a movement envisioning optimistic, ecologically harmonious futures where humans, technology, and nature coexist sustainably.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div><div class='flex_column av-1bvgerm-ffa84b9c46bb5bff4425c539ef7a7ba9 av_one_half  avia-builder-el-8 technology, ecology, and community co-exist harmoniously. Positioned against techno-pessimism and climate anxiety, it promotes open-source tools, circular systems, low-impact technologies and decentralised cooperation. While Solarpunk has emerged in design and literature, it remains underexplored in institutional artistic contexts. <b>SOLAR FUTURES<\/b> brings this vision to life through concrete artistic production Resources<br \/>\n<\/i>Explore energy autonomy, decentralized infrastructures, recycled materials, bio-based design, and circular economy principles.<\/li>\n<li><b>Screen-Based Experience<\/b>, on <i>Permacomputing and Digital Sobriety<br \/>\n<\/i>Engage with low-impact digital creation, energy-efficient code, open-source tools, and alternatives to extractive tech models.<\/li>\n<li><b>Live Performance<\/b>, on <i>New Imaginaries for Political and Societal Organisation<br \/>\n<\/i>Envision post-capitalist, inclusive futures through alternative governance, care economies, community
