Beneath the largest elliptical dome in Europe, <a href=\"https:\/\/levfestival.com\/26-gijon\/en\/lev-gijon\/enrique-del-castillo-umbrafono-_es\/\"><b>Enrique del Castillo<\/b><\/a> will present <b><i>Umbr\u00e1fono<\/i><\/b>, a project that transforms celluloid into a sonic experience.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-top: 0;font-size: 21px\">The performance uses optical readers designed and built by the artist himself, which convert into sound the light projected through 35 mm film, based on the optical-analogue reading system used since the early days of sound cinema.
