The <b>documentary <\/b><b><i>La revuelta y la nieve: Camus y la Cuenca Asturiana<\/i><\/b> weaves together the thought of Albert Camus \u2014co-author of R\u00e9volte dans les Asturies (1935)\u2014 with a coral account of Asturian mining: from the October 34 insurrection to nationalisation, the great strikes under Franco, the closure of the Pozu Santa B\u00e1rbara itself in 1995, and its subsequent ruin.<\/p>\n<p>The second chapter \u2014<b>a series of projected models, holograms and photographies\u2014 imagines what the coalfields might have looked like had the workers\u2019 housing been born from the logic of the mining craft<\/b>, rather than from generic models. Drawing from two complementary typologies, <i>arquitectura del oficio<\/i> (craft architecture) and arquitectura negra (black architecture), Gonz\u00e1lez proposes a <b>fresh perspective on popular housing<\/b> that redefines the dominant aesthetic canon. A \u201ceutopian suburbia\u201d of slate, pigmented concrete and steel, where the house extends the mine rather than denying it. Galleries become streets, pits become courtyards, engine rooms become communal facilities.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div>\n<style type=\"text\/css\" data-created_by=\"avia_inline_auto\" A transition that displaces the idea of progress and invites us to look underground once more \u2014a world that does not end with the closing of the mines.
