L.E.V. Festival continues to unveil the programme for its 20th edition, taking place from April 30 to May 3, 2026, now adding the daytime music programme at the Muséu del Pueblu d’Asturies and a series of interventions across different venues throughout the city.
With the support of Ayuntamiento de Gijón and Principado de Asturias, and following an initial announcement focused on audiovisual live shows and stage performances, the festival expands its daytime programme and deepens its dialogue with the local territory. The celebration of its twentieth anniversary, integrates new sound and audiovisual proposals into heritage and urban contexts.
This 20th edition already features artists such as Alva Noto, Ryoichi Kurokawa, Myriam Bleau + Pierce Warnecke, Tacit Group, Meuko! Meuko! & Hsiangfu Chen, Abul Mogard, Corin, NonTech, µ-Ziq & ID:Mora, Catnapp, Nova Materia, NikNak, Sara Muñiz y Julek Ploski, and continues to unfold new layers of programming.
The Muséu del Pueblu d’Asturies remains one of the most emblematic venues of the festival, a place where the cultural memory of Asturias merges with contemporary sound creation. On Saturday, May 2, it will host a full day of programming that combines formal research with rhythmic energy.
In addition, Gijón becomes an active stage with free installations and performancesat Teatro Jovellanos, el Centro de Cultura Antiguo Instituto, la Colegiata del Palacio de Revillagigedo, and the recently restored Capilla de San Esteban del mar, now transformed into a cultural space.
LEV Festival will soon announce further additions to the programme with a special focus on extended reality experiences and sound-based actions.
MUSÉU DEL PUEBLU D’ASTURIES

The line-up is headed by American composer Jlin, one of the most unique voices in contemporary music creation. Renowned for her sophisticated sound architecture and for expanding the rhythmic language that emerged in Chicago. In 2023, she was nominated for the Pulitzer Prize for Perspective, and in 2025, she composed and premiered the first electronic music piece commissioned by the Library of Congress.
From Asturias,Komatssu vs Tensal presents Pulchra Errata, his latest album released in 2025 by the Madrid-based label Artificial Intelligence. The project fuses melodic IDM, electro, breakcore and spectral avant-techno, which revisits fragments developed since 2008 that had not found a place in previous works, articulating a sustained trajectory spanning more than seventeen years.
Percussionist, sound manipulator, and visual artist NAHwill present a live performance based on drums and samplers, synthesising texture noise and percussive rhythms rooted in DIY punk, noise, avant jazz and electronica.
The day will be rounded off by musgo2, a project by Nacho Rebollo, from Gijón, who moves between electronica, noise and pop, building a sonic universe shaped by early 2000s digital imaginaries, with references to Skype calls, low-quality mp3 files and the sound environment of operating systems such as Windows 7.

With free admission, the city will host new media installations and performances that represent LEV’s experimental approach and are open to all audiences.
Teatro Jovellanos – Cod.Act, πton
An intriguing sound installation: a large rubber tube, closed on itself, that twists and undulates like an inverterate organism. Ther result explores the relationship between the distortion of an elastic structure and the synthesis of the human voice in real time. The piece will be presented in several performances.
Colegiata del Palacio de Revillagigedo – Studio Sven Sauer, Deviation
Installation based on texts by historian Rutger Bregman. Following a train that moves across the room over a surface of light-catching framgents, the work reflects on how the remnants of destructuion can be transformed into signs of hope.
Capilla de San Esteban del Mar – Anne Horel, La señal está abierta
Video installation exploring contemporary mythologies through digitl collage, moving images, experimental narratives and artificial intelligence. The artist has developed this project specifically for the chpael, using the sacred space as a catalyst for a collective experience of reflection.
Centro de Cultura Antiguo Instituto – Eric Vernhes, Meeting Philip
A sort of Frankenstein robot built from scraps of audiovisual devices, the installation revolves around the lecture in which writer Philip K. Dick revealed the existence of a plurality of parallel universes and a computer programmer god.
