Reebok presents Skygaze: Bloom

Reebok presents Skygaze

Es

Skygaze is the musical alter ego of Jaime Tellado, an architect who loves music since he was a child.

He started creating music in 2013, and since then he has played live in festivals such as Sonar L.E.V. or MIRA, and on several streaming platforms like Boiler Room or Captcha.

In 2015 he played in the Red Bull Music Academy BassCamp event held in Madrid. He has released music in many different labels, such as Love Our Records, Neonized, Sin Hilo, Solid Tapes, or Riverette.

In 2017 he won the Villa de Bilbao music contest, in the category of Electronic Music and Emerging Trends. He has run workshops for Barcelona’s Ableton User Group, and also about the relationship between architecture and music.

His third and best album yet was released on September 2018. It is called Freedom and includes several collaborations of some of the most important names from the jazz-influenced electronic scene, such as Simbad (Brownswood Records) or Andrew Jervis (CEO of Bandcamp and Ubiquity Records).

Skygaze’s diverse music is based on abstract beat-construction, and goes from slow tempos influenced by jazzy hip-hop, or more dance-oriented house or juke tracks.

For this edition of LEV Festival at Matadero Madrid, the Asturian producer will exclusively premiere Bloom, his fourth album. A couple of tracks are already available to stream.
