Where can I stay in Gijón and how can I move around the different spaces in the festival?
L.E.V. Festival does not happen in a single venue, but in different spaces in the town of Gijón (Asturias, Spain). Most visitors choose to stay at the city center, as it offers plenty of variety, and some of the festival activities take place there. But there are other options close to La Laboral (the space of the live shows and AV performances), such as Camping Deva or rural houses.
The different festival spaces are very well served by several bus lines, and a special bus line back to the city center will be available after the night activities at La Laboral on Friday April 28 and Saturday 29, when standard bus lines are no longer operative. You can check the map and all the details in the How to get to the festival section.
What does the 2-day festival ticket include? Can I buy tickets for a single activity?
The 2-day festival ticket (Friday+Saturday) includes access to all L.E.V Festival daytime and night activities on Friday April 28 and Saturday 29.
The activities on Thursday April 27 (audiovisual installations and virtual reality experiences) are free, and you need separate tickets for the activities on Sunday April 30 at Jardín Botánico and Teatro Jovellanos. There is not a single full festival ticket including these activities too.
You can check all the types of festival tickets in the Tickets section.
Are there any free activities?
Starting on Thursday 27 April, L.E.V. Festival’s line-up includes several free-access audiovisual installations and virtual reality experiences: Faces by Iregular at CCAI; Hardly Working by Total Refusal and OPTX.drips by Maxime Corbeil-Perron at LABoral Centro de Arte; and From the Main Square and Goliath: Playing with Reality at Escuela de Comercio.
