FAQs

L.E.V. Festival does not have a single venue, but is held in different parts of the city of Gijón. Most people choose to stay in the city centre, as it offers plenty of variety, as well as being the location for some of the festival’s activities, but there are also options near La Laboral (where the programme of concerts and AV performances takes place) such as Camping Deva or rural houses.

The different locations of the festival are perfectly connected with several bus lines and there will be a special bus service back to the centre of Gijón at the end of the night programme at La Laboral on Friday 3 and Saturday 4 May, when standard bus lines are no longer operative. You can check the map and all the details in the section How to get to the festival.

The Friday+Saturday 2-day ticket includes access to all the activities, both day and night, that will take place on Friday May 3 and Saturday May 4 as part of the L.E.V. Festival program.

The performance The Third Reich by Romeo Castellucci, which will take place on Wednesday May 1 and Thursday May 2 in the stage box of Teatro de la Laboral, as well as the activities on Sunday May 5 at the Atlantic Botanical Garden, are not included in the 2-day ticket and require a separate one. Those who purchase the Friday+Saturday 2-day ticket will receive a discount code to buy a ticket for these activities at a reduced price of €10 each. More information in the Tickets section.

Among them are the audiovisual installations Distrust Everything by LOREM, from the 1st to the 3rd of May at the Teatro Jovellanos, and Oh Lord by Guillaume Marmin, from the 2nd to the 12th of May at the Centro de Cultura Antiguo Instituto. Also with free admission, the virtual reality experiences Red Tail and Uncanny Alley, and the augmented reality experience Slow Walker, will be on show at the Escuela de Comercio from 2 to 5 May.

In case they wish to attend other activities, minors must purchase a ticket, bearing in mind the following: the performances at the Teatro de la Laboral and the Nave de LABoral Centro de Arte are not recommended for people under the age of 16. Those 16 and 17 years old who wish to attend these activities will need to hand in an access permit signed by their legal guardian at the door (download here).
